Held Hostage in Lebanon for 2,354 days...

.

Join the World Affairs Council
to hear Dr. Sutherland talk about his unique view of the bitter religious and factional conflict that has ravaged the Middle East, its war and terrorism, as well as his perspective of a man caught in upheaval, striving to survive, and finding in it all the essence of what it is to be human...

A captivating and inspiring evening
that you won't want to miss!

From Fauvism to Impressionism:
Albert Marquet from the Pompidou

at the Columbia, South Carolina Museum of Art
Main at Hampton Street
Columbia,SC

Albert Marquet (1875-1947) was one of the founders of the Fauvist movement in French painting, but his early work as a Fauvist gave way at the end of his career to lyrical impressionism. Sixty paintings and twenty-two drawings, drawn entirely from the collection of the Center Pompidou in Paris make up this first opportunity for American audiences to experience, in depth, the work of this important artist.
From Fauvism to Impressionism: Albert Marquet from the Pompidou is organized and circulated nationally by ArtReach International of West Palm Beach Florida.
